Bad News for Commercial Construction Loans

Foresight Analytics just reported that construction lending has experienced the most rapid erosion of all real estate lending. Even including residential real estate mortgages!
Total delinquencies rose to 4.8% in the 4th quarter of 2007 compared to just 1.75% of all other commercial loans.
Not good news if you are seeking a commercial construction loan as banks are severely tightening their loan guidelines in response.
